The vast majority of people pass their driving test when they are 17.  However, most of them don't have the means to buy a car, insure it and keep it on the road, so they don't drive for a number of  years by which time they have lost all confidence in their ability to drive.

At Pats Motoring School we strongly recommend that people who find themselves in this position should seriously consider taking a Pass Plus Course or some refresher lessons with a professional instructor.  Driving instructors are trained to help you gain confidence in your driving ability and will get you back on the road quickly, safely and confidently.

Pass Plus consists of 6 hours of lessons and is undertaken after you have passed your practical driving test.  You receive  more in depth training on what you have already learnt, motorway lessons,  driving in dark and driving in the rain at speed.

Remember, passing your driving test is just the first stage of the learning process, hopefully, you will continue to learn for many years to come.
