Consistency is The Key to Success When Learning to Drive

26 July 2011 18:59

"I would only ever recommend Pat as a driving instructor to anyone, his professonalism and sense of humour makes every lesson progressive and enjoyable.  I went from a complete novice to passing my theory and practical tests first time and now I am completely comfortable driving around.  Pat's dedication to having the safest and best drivers is second to none, the only downfall is that you will miss him when you pass.  Thank you Kate and Pat for your great service and teaching me a life skill I never thought I would have."

I received this testimonial from a pupil who passed last week.  Michael was the model pupil in that he was consistent and committed to learning to drive.  He passed his test from being a complete novice in 36 hours.  He did a 2 hour lesson every week, was never late and was always alert and keen to learn.

I have taught so many pupils over the years who have not been committed, they stop and start and therefore it takes them a lot longer to pass their test, as every time they stop taking lessons they go 2 steps back.
