Having never driven before Pat had a huge task, he was patient, very honest and tough. He really cares about his students and wants them to be really good drivers. He will not tell you something just for the sake of it, and will not try to get you to do anything you are not ready to do. He is also funny and has a great sense of hummer, i enjoyed learning how to drive with him. Kate his lovely wife is also great, dealing with all the bookings you could always twist her arm if you need a favour. Best pare around. Would recommend Pat to anyone who wants to learn how to drive novice or not.

Dear Kate,

As a 38 year old woman with no previous experience of driving, I lacked confidence and was very fearful. Your husband's calm and reassuring manner, as well as his supportive and descriptive approach to lessons made it possible for me to drive around my neighbourhood on my very first lesson. A month later, and with no further practise than weekly lessons, I have driven all around Oxford and am thrilled with my progress. Dear Pat and Kate

Thank you so much for getting George through his test, it is such a milestone in a child’s life. George would have been nightmare today if he had failed, however George was so confident this morning and said that it was a dead cert, just a matter of formality doing the test!! He is bouncing off the ceiling now. Pat, you have such a good record- Luke, George, Hayley, Steven, Ned and Daniel Goodwin that we know of, and I will certainly recommend you to everyone I know.
