Pass Plus is a course of lessons (6 hours) which is aimed at new or inexperienced drivers. Research has shown that the most likely time for you to have a car accident is within the first 2 years of passing your test. That's why Pass Plus is such an excellent investment. Pat will be continually observing your driving, teaching you to drive even more safely in different circumstances, and help you to be a far more confident driver. 

The course has the backing of the Government's Driving Standards Agency (DSA) and a number of insurance companies. With Pat's tutition you will gain experience in different aspects of driving ensuring that you become a positive driver.

Who might benefit from this course?

Any new driver who has recently passed their test and wants to improve their driving skills. Although Pat's Motoring School is based in Oxford the experience that you gain from this course is transferable to anywhere you drive.

What does Pass Plus include?

The Pass Plus course is divided into 6 modules covering:

• motorway driving
• all weather driving
• night driving
• dual carriageway driving
• town driving
• rural driving

You will be encouraged to develop a positive attitude, taking responsibility for your own actions, and demonstrating care and consideration for others on the road.

The course will also help you to improve your observation and assessment skills, teaching you to make clearer decisions and be more confident in taking the correct actions.

Each module is assessed (there's no test!) so that you know how well you are progressing and the course must be completed within 12 months of passing your initial driving test. 

The majority of the course involves motorway tuition and most insurance companies will offer you a reduction on your premium upon completion of the course. Cost - £270.
